Mama Tina and Beyonce are not about to let to let the Sasha Fierce phenomenon die anytime soon. This week Beyonce and her mom dropped the news that they will be launching a new junior apparel label, Sasha Fierce for Deréon,. The collection, which is inspired by Beyoncé’s stage presence, includes a full range of sportswear, outerwear, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie and jewelry. The “Sasha Fierce” line has already been picked up by department stores including Macy’s and Dillard’s and specialty stores Jimmy Jazz and Against All Odds.
The collection, Tina said, is “edgier and trendier and reflects Sasha Fierce’s daring and outgoing attitude.” The jewelry, shoes and eyewear, she added, “are really over the top” with large chains made in mixed metals such as silver with gold, heavily studded shoes and oversize sunglasses such as the ones Beyoncé has been seen wearing on tour. The clothes are a little more subdued to make the accessories stand out — a one-shoulder dress, black bodysuit, fake leather jacket with oversize collar, leggings and destructed jeans with mesh and lace details lining the ripped material.
Beyoncé, who said in a statement “the line really exudes a different side of my personality, which I am grateful that I can express,” had a lot of say in the creation of the collection, Tina said.
The collection wholesales from $25 to $75.

Don’t you love when one of your favorite designers makes a more affordable line? I mean what is better then a great product at a crazy affordable price. Tons of top name designers are getting with the trend creating lines for stores like Top Shop and H & M. Names like Alice Temperley, Proenza Schouler and Richard Chai, Isaac Mizrahi and Sarah Blakely have all created lines for Target. Not familiar with the last name on that list? Well you should be she is the face behind one of the most popular products on the market right now, Spanx. Sara Blakely has revolutionized the undergarment industry with her successful line of undergarment shapers. Now she has created a new line called True Assets that is sold at Target for a lower price point. But don’t think that because it costs less that it’s of any lower quality. True Assets delivers the same shaping and support that the Spanx products.
I had the chance to test out the Sensational Shaper ($20, loveassets.com and Target nationwide). The package promises to help deliver a sensational silhouette with this high waist mid-thigh shaper. And it delivered. The Shaper was comfortable and held in all the right places. My midriff, thighs and rear all looked less lumpy and bumpy and my dress fit much better. And the patented legband-free design is invisible under clothes and stays comfortably in place. to keep your curves in all the right places.
So if you want to keep your curves in all the right places while keep your money in the right place, your wallet, then True Assets is the way to go.
